Motion to Extend Time to File Reply filed

Document CECILE YOUNG, IN HER OFFICIAL CAPACITY AS THE EXECUTIVE COMMISSIONER OF THE TEXAS HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION AND THE TEXAS HEALTH AND HUMAN ...
Petitioners Cecile Young, in her official capacity as the Executive Commissioner of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, seek a 30-day extension of time to file a reply in support of their petition for review.
After obtaining an unopposed 30-day extension, Respondent National Association of Chain Drug Stores, Inc., filed its response to the petition for review on December 18, 2024.
Petitioners request the extension because Assistant Solicitor General Evan S. Greene, their counsel, will be out of the office on a long-planned family vacation over the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, returning January 6, 2025.
Accordingly, additional time to review the record, and to research and analyze the issues presented in this appeal, will allow for a thorough and helpful reply.
For these reasons, Petitioners respectfully request that the Court grant a 30- day extension of time to file a reply in support of their petition for review, creating a new deadline of February 3, 2025.
