`APPROVE FUNDS FOR AN INVESTIGATOR

`TO THE HONORABLE JUDGE OF SAID COURT:

`COMES NOW the Defendant, Anthony Romero, by and through his attorney of
`
`record, Hattie Sewell Shannon, and respectfully requests that the Court, pursuant to Tex.
`
`Code of Crim. Pro. Art. 26.05, approve the expenditure of funds to reimburse appointed
`
`Counsel for reasonable expenses incurred for the purposes of investigation.
`
`In support of
`
`his Motion, the Defendant would show the following:
`

`
`The Defendant is currently charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest.
`
`II.
`
`The Defendant is indigent. Counsel was appointed to represent the Defendant on
`
`March 12, 2018.
`

`
`Due to the need to locate several witnesses, an investigator is needed to assist
`
`Counsel in preparing the defense.
`
`WHEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, the Defendant prays that the Court
`
`authorize and order the reimbursement of such sums that are reasonably expended in the
`
`investigation of these causes.
