`In accordance with 37 C.F.R. § 42.70(a) and the Scheduling Order dated
`
`Aug. 11, 2021 (Paper 19), Patent Owner United Therapeutics Corporation (“UTC”)
`
`respectfully requests the opportunity to present oral argument on the issues
`
`identified in the Decision Instituting Inter Partes Review (Paper 18) (e.g., the
`
`alleged unpatentability of issued claims 1-8 of the ’793 patent based on Grounds 1-
`
`6), as well as the issues remaining from the Petition for Inter Partes Review (Paper
`
`2), Patent Owner’s Response (Paper 29), Petitioner’s Reply to Patent Owner’s
`
`Response (Paper 44), and Patent Owner’s Sur-Reply (Paper 55). UTC’s request
`
`for an oral argument (without intent to waive consideration of any issue not
`
`requested) is on all issues raised by the parties in the Petition, Patent Owner
`
`Response, Petitioner’s Reply, Patent Owner Sur-Reply, any issues raised by the
`
`Petitioner at (or prior to) the Oral Argument, the Parties’ respective papers
`
`identifying portions of exhibits and papers requested to be struck, and any
`
`additional issues on which the Board seeks information or clarification.
`
`Pursuant to the Scheduling Order, UTC understands that Oral Argument is
`
`currently scheduled for May 13, 2022 (Paper 19, Due Date 8). UTC respectfully
`
`requests that the Oral Argument be held in the afternoon, if possible.
`
`In view of the scope of the issues, Patent Owner requests 60 minutes for its
`
`oral argument. Patent Owner also requests authorization to use audio/visual
`

`hearings occurring after March 13, 2020 remains in effect, then UTC is available to
`
`participate via remote video and/or telephonically.
