`Petitioner Google LLC provides this updated mandatory notice under
`
`37 C.F.R. § 42.8 to update the Board on the status of the litigation where Uniloc
`
`asserted the same patent challenged in this proceeding. On December 22, 2020, the
`
`Northern District of California found that at least Fortress Credit Co. LLC held
`
`sufficient rights in the challenged patent that Uniloc lacked standing to sue. The
`
`court then dismissed the litigation for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. See
`
`generally Uniloc 2017 LLC v. Google LLC, No. 4:20-cv-05345-YGR, Dkt. 210
`
`(N.D. Cal. Dec. 22, 2020) (single order addressing eleven cases). Uniloc filed a
`
`notice of appeal on December 31, 2020.
