`The Scheduling Order in these proceedings set the deadline for Patent
`Owner’s Motion to Amend on November 27, 2019 (DUE DATE 1) and the
`deadline for Petitioner’s Opposition to the Motion on February 19, 2020
`(DUE DATE 2). Paper 10 (“Scheduling Order”).1 The Scheduling Order
`also stated that the parties may stipulate changes to DUE DATES 1 through
`3, 5, and 6.
`In the 715 Proceeding, Patent Owner filed a Contingent Motion to
`Amend on DUE DATE 1 according to the Scheduling Order. That Motion
`seeks the Board’s Preliminary Guidance under the current pilot program
`concerning motions to amend.2 Since the filing of the Motion, the parties
`have stipulated to several changes to DUE DATES 2 and 3. The latest
`stipulation sets DUE DATE 2 to March 10, 2020, resulting in a three-week
`extension of the initial Scheduling Order deadline. Consequently, the
`Board’s deadline for issuing the Preliminary Guidance has changed
`accordingly.
`Given the time and resources, the Board foresees allocating in issuing
`the requested Preliminary Guidance, and to allow for the contingency for
`Patent Owner to file a revised motion to amend, we hereby modify the
`Scheduling Order to disallow any further stipulations to any upcoming

`It is hereby ORDERED that the Scheduling Order is modified in both
`of the captioned proceedings to require panel authorization for any further
`stipulated modifications to DUE DATES 2, 3, 5 and 6.
