`On September 15, 2017, Petitioner (Clearfield, Inc.) filed the Petition
`
`challenging claims 1-3, 5-8, 10-13, 15-17, 19, and 20 of U.S. Patent 8,705,929. In
`
`accordance with the fee schedule specified in 37 C.F.R. § 42.15(a) at the time of
`
`filing, Petitioner provided the PTO with a deposit account payment in the amount
`
`of $23,400. Petitioner’s payment consisted of $9,000 for the request for inter
`
`partes review up to twenty claims (§ 42.15(a)(1)), $14,000 for post-institution fees
`
`up to fifteen claims (§ 42.15(a)(2)), and $400 for post-institution fees for one
`
`excess claim (§ 42.15(a)(4)). On March 20, 2018, the Patent Trial and Appeal
`
`Board entered judgment terminating IPR2017-02122 prior to institution (Paper 9).
`
`Petitioner hereby requests a refund in the amount of $14,400 for the post-
`
`institution fees that it paid to the PTO in connection with this proceeding. Please
`
`refund the post-institution fees to Deposit Account No. 500436, under Docket No.
`
`140796.00030.
