`A piece of data terminal equipment having an Ethernet con-
`nector having first and second pairs of contacts used to can'y
`high frequency data communication signals. The piece of
`data terminal equipment to have at least one path coupled
`across at lcast one of thc contacts of thc first pair of contacts
`of the Ethernet connector and at least one of the contacts of
`the second pair of contacts of the Ethernet connector. The
`piece of data terminal equipment to draw different magni-
`tudes of DC current through the at least one path.
