`Claims 36-47, drawn to a compound comprising exendin-4, or agonist
`analog of exendin-4 linked to a polyamino acid; and
`
`Claims 48-53, drawn to a method of treating diabetes, impaired glucose
`tolerance, and postprandial hyperglycemia using a compound of Group I
`(above).

`Applicants hereby elect Group I (claims 36-47) for further examination and exercise their
`
`right to have the claims of Group II rejoined upon allowance of the elected claims. See MPEP §
`
`821.04(a).
`
