`POST-INSTITUTION FEES

`Petitioner Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (“Samsung” or “Petitioner”)
`
`respectfully requests refund of the Inter Partes Review post-institution fees paid on
`
`November 17, 2015 in connection with the instant proceeding in the amount of
`
`$14,000.00. Should such a request be granted, the refund may be deposited into
`
`Deposit Account No. 50-2387.
`
`On November 17, 2015, Petitioners filed a Petition for Inter Partes Review
`
`of U.S. Patent No. 7,973,773 (the “Petition”), which was subsequently assigned
`
`case number IPR2016-00206. In accordance with the fee schedule specified in 37
`
`C.F.R. § 42.15(a), Petitioners submitted an electronic payment in the amount of
`
`$23,000.00 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office at the time of
`
`filing the Petition. Petitioners’ payment consisted of $9,000.00 in Inter Partes
`
`Review request fees, and $14,000.00 in Inter Partes Review post-institution fees.
`
`On February 24, 2016 the Board terminated the instant proceeding prior to
`
`instituting trial. (Paper 8.) Accordingly, Petitioners respectfully request refund of
`
`the Inter Partes Review post-institution fees paid on November 17, 2015 in
`
`connection with the instant proceeding in the amount of $14,000.00.
