`
`Assembly requires two people, Place the treacimill in a cleared araa and framove all packing materials. Do not
`dispose of the packing materials untthe treacrnill is assembled. No tools are required.
`
`Note: The undersicia of the treadmill walking belt is coated with high-performance lubricant. During shipping, a
`small arnount af hibnicant may be transferred to the ton of the walking belt, ihe sides of the walking platform. or
`the shipping carton. This dees nat affect ireadmill parfarmance. H there is lubricant an top of the walking belt or
`ort the sides of tha walking mledfarm, wipe off the lubricant with @ sof cloth anc a mild. nor-abrasive clearer.
`
`1. Wh the help of a second person, carefully raise the
`Uprights (103) until the Wheels (99) are resting an the
`floor as shown.
`
`{1033} and tighten the Lock Knob ante it.
`
`Zz. Next, make sure that the Lock Knob Sleeve {63} is fully
`inserted into the left Uorignt (103).
`
`Remove the Lock Knab (67} from ths Lock Fin (72). Make
`sure that the Lock Pin Collar (70) and the Spring (69) are
`on the Lock Pin. Insert the Lock Pin into the left Upright
`
`
`
`3. Meke sure that all paris are ightened before you use the treadmill. Place a mat beneath the treadmill
`to protect the floor or carpet. For your benefit, we recommend that you fanvlarize yourself with the
`TROUBLE-SHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE section on pages 22 and 23.

`THE PERFORMANT LUBEWALKING BELT
`
`Your treadmill features a walking bell coated with
`PERFORMANT LUBE™, a high-performance lubricant.
`IMPORTANT: Never apply silicone spray or other
`substances to the walking bell or the walking plat-
`form. Such substances will deteriorate the walking
`belt and cause excessive wear.
`
`HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER CORB

`alectronic equipment, can be seriously carmagacdby
`sudden voltage changes in your home's power,

`guilt from weather condiions or from other anollances

`having an equipment-grouncding conductor and a
`grounding plug. Plug the power cord into a surge
`protector, and plug the surge protector into an ap-
`propriate outlet that is properly installed and
`grounded in accordance with all local codes and
`ardinances.
`
`This product is for use on a nominal 12Q-vol circuit,
`and has a grounding plug inal foaks like the plug Hlus-
`trated in drawing 1 below. A temporary adapter that
`looks like the adapter lhustrated in drawing 2 may be
`used io connect the surge protector fo a 2-pcle recep-
`facie as shown in crewing 2 7 a properly grouncled oul-
`let is not available.
`
`The tamporary adapter should be used only url a
`properly grounded outlet (drawing 1} can be installed
`by a qualified electrician.
`
`The green-colored rigid ear, lug, or the like extending
`from the aclapter must be connected ta a permanent
`ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover.
`Whenever the adapter is used # must be held in place
`by a metal screw. Some 2-pele receptacie outlet bax
`covers are not grounded. Contact a qualified elec-
`trician to determine if the outlet box coveris
`grounded before using an adapter.
