UNITED STATES INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION
`WASHINGTON, D.C.
`
`Before The Honorable MaryJoan McNamara
`Administrative Law Judge
`
`In the Matter of
`
`CERTAIN GRAPHICS SYSTEMS,
`COMPONENTS THEREOF, AND
`CONSUMER PRODUCTS CONTAINING
`THE SAME
`
`Investigation No. 337-TA-1044
`
`JOINT MOTION TO AMEND PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE
`
`Pursuant to 19 C.F.R. § 210.15 and Ground Rule 2, complainants Advanced Micro Devices,
`
`Inc. and ATI Technologies ULC and respondents LG Electronics, Inc., LG Electronics U.S.A.,
`
`Inc., LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc., Vizio, Inc., MediaTek Inc., MediaTek USA Inc.,
`
`and Sigma Designs, Inc. (collectively, “the Private Parties”) jointly move to amend the procedural
`
`schedule to conform the last day to file summary determination motions with the requirements of
`
`Commission Rule 210.18. Pursuant to Ground Rule 2.2, the Commission Investigative Staff
`
`Attorney does not oppose this Motion.
`
`Pursuant to Commission Rule 210.18, motions for summary determination must be filed at
`
`least 60 days before the first day of the evidentiary hearing in an investigation. 19 C.F.R.
`
`§ 210.18(a). “Notwithstanding any other rule, the deadline for filing summary determinations
`
`shall be computed by counting backward at least 60 days including the first calendar day prior to
`
`the date the hearing is scheduled to commence. If the end of the 60 day period falls on a weekend
`
`or holiday, the period extends until the end of the next business day.” Id.
`
` On July 19, 2017, the evidentiary hearing in this Investigation was rescheduled to begin
`
`

`

`on November 27, 2017.1 See Order No. 24. However, the last day to file summary determination
`
`motions remained scheduled for October 3, 2017, less than 60 days before the start of the
`
`rescheduled evidentiary hearing. Id. Accordingly, to comply with Commission Rule 210.18, the
`
`Private Parties respectfully request that the last day to file summary determination motions be
`
`moved to September 28, 2017. Thus, for good cause shown, the Private Parties respectfully request
`
`that this Motion be granted.
`
`Dated: September 22, 2017
