`WILHY HARPO-BROWN,
`Plaintifi',
`
`v.
`PUBLIC STORAGE, et. al.
`Defendants.
`
`ORDER FOR STAY OF DISCOVERY
`This matter came before the Court on Defendants’ Emergency Motion for Protective Order as to
`
`Depositions filed October 8, 2019.
`A number of factors weigh in favor ofthe Court granting the motion. First, discovery seems to
`have reached an impasse prior to end ofthe discovery period. Second, multiple motions have been filed
`which will need to be ruled on prior to the resolution ofthe discovery disputes. And finally, the
`undersigned was appointed to preside over this case on January 15, 2020 and would benefit from an
`
`opportunity to review the pleadings prior to resolving the discovery disputes.
`For all those reasons, the motion is GRANTED and the Court hereby STAYS all discovery in this
`matter until further order ofthe Court. This will be a temporary stay; the Court will schedule a
`
`status/motion hearing as soon as practicable to discuss the status of this case, address the outstanding
`motions, and create a new case management order if necessary.
`SO ORDERED this the 23'“ day ofJanuary, 2020.
