`The foregoing, having been considered by the Court, is hereby:

`ORDER: DENIED
`
`"[T]here shall be a presumption that documents filed with the court shall be available to the public" P.B.
`Section 11-20A(a). The judicial authority may order documents sealed "only if the judicial authority
`concludes that such order is necessary to preserve an interest which is determined to override the public's
`interest in viewing such materials." P.B section 11-20A(c). The court has reviewed the lodged materials
`and does not so conclude. The affidavits contain nothing remotely akin to trade secrets or detailed
`investment strategies. They contain only the names of the affiants and very broad investment concepts
`that are not particularly proprietary or even novel. To the extent the movants are concerned that
`competitors may learn of the names and investment goals of certain clients, there concerns are highly
`speculative given the lack of detail contained in the affidavits. Those speculative concerns do not
`outweigh the interest of the public in open and transparent court processes.
