`The foregoing, having been considered by the Court, is hereby:
`
`ORDER:
`
`By this motion, the plaintiff moves the court "to suppress the Plaintiff's deposition being used,
`introduce[d] or submitted in court as evidence by the defendants."
`
`The Practice Book does not provide for motions to suppress in civil actions. However, given that by this
`motion, the plaintiff moves the court to exclude from evidence her deposition transcript, and otherwise
`prohibit its use at trial, the court will treat the plaintiff's filing as a motion in limine submitted pursuant
`to Practice Book § 15-3.
`
`Practice Book § 15-3 provides, in part, that "[t]he judicial authority . . . may in its discretion entertain a
`motion in limine made by any party regarding the admission or exclusion of anticipated evidence."
`Section 15-3 further provides that "[t]he judicial authority may grant the relief sought in the motion or
`such other relief as it may deem appropriate, may deny the motion with or without prejudice to its later
`renewal, OR MAY RESERVE DECISION THEREON UNTIL A LATER TIME IN THE
`PROCEEDING." (Emphasis supplied by capitalization.)
`
`The court hereby reserves decision on this motion until the time of trial. Prior to the beginning of
`evidence, the parties shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard on the plaintiff's motion, as well as on
`all other motions in limine that may be submitted in accordance with Practice Book § 15-3.
`
`It is so ORDERED.
`
