`
`Large lumen
`
`New soft tip is atraumatic to a vessel
`wall and provides enhanced X-ray visibility.
`
`An inner layer of PTFE, a fluoro-polymer that reduces
`frictional resistance, facilitates smoother delivery and
`enhanced performance for a wide variety of devices.
`
`The Heartrail II’s large internal diameter facilitates
`smooth delivery for a broad range of devices.
`
`FOCUS
`
`Transradial approach is the best access
`for outpatient PCI. It reduces bed rest time,
`nursing time, hospital stay and cost. Transradial
`approach reduces access site complications
`for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Its
`main limitation is the learning curve. Today, this
`learning phase becomes much faster and easier
`thanks to dedicated equipment for puncture,
`selective coronary cannulation and haemostasis.
`As a pioneer and leader in vascular access,
`Terumo’s mission is to offer a total support for
`TRI with devices that minimize patient stress
`and optimise the transradial approach.
`With technologies including superior coating
`and downsizing, Terumo continues to set new
`standards in transradial intervention (TRI).

`
`Robust backup with
`Terumo’s ZONE technology
`
`The Heartrail II’s distal shaft is made from material with
`outstanding shape retention. What’s more, it consists of five to
`six zones, each fabricated from a material of different stiffness,
`to provide optimum engagement and backup support.
`
`Enhanced maneuverability, kink resistance
`and stronger backup support
