`Welcome Wildcat Fans! The Kansas City metropolitian area is home to the largest
`number of K-State alumni, students, and fans. The KC Alumni and Catbackers
`Clubs are two of the strongest such organizations in the Metro. In keeping with this
`tradition, we are proud to showcase our organizations on the Internet.

`Alurrmi Clubs are located throughout Kansas and
`across the entire country. Clubs gather for events
`throughout the year and offer K-State alurrmi and
`friends the chance to get together and have fiin. Not
`only do club events serve as social outings, but they
`also provide alumni a chance to learn more about
`K-State, help promote the University in local
`communities and strengthen the ties between
`alumni and their alma mater.
`
`Catbacker Clubs are co-sponsored by the KSU
`Athletic Department and the K- State Alurrmi
`Association. Catbackers are volunteer boosters
`from across Kansas and out-of-state who join
`together as organized clubs in regional areas or
`major cities. The Catbacker family includes alumni,
`friends, former students and parents of Kansas State
`University students. These individuals are dedicated
`volunteers, boosters and when at their best,
`"FANATICS! "
`
`Whether it is gathering at the Summer Festival or
`attending K-State Night at the American Royal, the
`Kansas City Alumni Club is designed to keep you
`connected to Kansas State.
`
`Membership to the Kansas State Alumni
`Association includes quarterly newletters, invitation
`to sponsored events, discounts and many other
`benefits.
`

`Reorganized in 1987, the Kansas City chapter is
`1300 members strong. Membership includes
`quarterly newletters, discounts on Catbacker
`apparel and invitation to sponsored events. Your
`membership dues cover the cost of mailings and
`contribute to the Mike Ahearn Scholarship Fund
`for student-athletes.
