`
`Coca-Cola Superslide
`Coca-Cola Fan Lot features five key elements -- Coca-Cola Superslides, a
`Giant Baseball Glove, Little Giants Park, Fantasy Photo booth, Make Your
`Own Lou Seal Workshop - providing enjoyment to fans visiting AT&T Park.
`
`Fans of all ages can visit Coca-Cola Fan Lot without missing a pitch on the
`field. A raised mezzanine will wrap around Coca-Cola Superslide and the
`Giant Glove to provide fans unique visual views of the game, San
`Francisco Bay, the Bay Bridge and downtown San Francisco.
`
`Coca-Cola Superslide is one of the main attractions at Coca-Cola Fan Lot.
`The bottle itself, located 465 feet from home plate, contains viewing
`platforms and four slides, two 56-toot-long curving slides (the "Guzz|er")

`each 80 feet long, formed to shape the iamous Coca-Cola contour bottle.

`
`The bottle weighs 130,000 pounds, rests at an angle of 25 degrees and is 47 feet tall at its highest point. A
`home run by the Giants and other celebratory occasions will activate a sophisticated sequence of lights that
`will congratulate the home team and its fans.
`
`Coca-Cola and the Giants worked with local suppliers to bring the bottle on an open barge to AT&T Park from
`its assembly site in Petaluma. The bottle was transported clown the Petaluma River and through San
`Francisco Bay before being delivered and hoisted into the ballpark.
`
`Giant 1927 0Id—Time Four-Fingered Baseball Glove
`The glove is a 26-foot-high, 32-foot-wide and 12-foot-deep replica of
`..
`a vintage 1927 tour-lingered baseball mitt. It is 36 times the size of
`the original model and weighs 20,000 pounds.
`
`The glove, designed in Berkeley and built in Oakland, provides fans
`with a close-up view of a timeless baseball icon.
`
`The glove, instantly recognizable as a part of the game, will be a fun
`target for big league hitters. Although, if hitters reach this glove, they
`will have hit a ball approximately 501 feet and it won't be an out.
`
`The mitt was constructed by scanning the original model to create a
`3-D file showing every stitch and wrinkle. A computer router, using
`the 3-D model as a guide, carved the outline of the glove from high-
`density foam. The foam was cut into blocks to make them easier to handle and covered with fiberglass before
`being assembled, attached to a steel infrastructure, and hand sculpted by artists.
`
`The artists who crafted the glove took great measures to maintain the authentic look and feel of the original
`mitt. The surface is a flexible epoxy compound that was molded and treated to look like worn leather. The
`grommets are real brass and the stitching, done by hand, uses marine grade rope.
`
`Local artisans put in hundreds of hours on this sculpture to make sure the right materials were selected for
`the glove's display.
`
`Coca-Cola and the Giants agreed to model the glove after a four-fingered mitt owned by Giants senior vice
`president and general counsel Jack Bair's father.
`
`Little Giants Park
`Little Giants Park is a 50-by-50-foot replica of AT&T Park designed for children ages 3-7. It includes an
`infield, bases, outfield and ballpark iconography that gives tomorrow's Giants the feeling that they are big
`Ieaguers playing in a real Major League ballpark.
`
`Kids can hit softballs or whiffle balls thrown by a pitching machine or a pitcher or sitting atop a batting tee.
`
`Parents are able to see their kids play on the mini-diamond by looking
`on over the park's walls.
`
`The scenery depicted on the walls of Little Giants Park reflects the
`entertaining aspects of the baseball experience. Open arches have
`been carved into some of the walls so that kids can watch their
`friends playing in the park, just like the grownups in right field at AT&T
`Park.
`
`Baseball clinics. pickup games, player appearances and other special
`events all take place at Little Giants Park.
