`has examined the specimens and reported that they are,

`fact, actual specimens of traveler's checks. This exami-

`nation took place on or about June 22,

`l982 and is consistent

`with Applicant's own file which indicates that actual checks

`were used.

`The Examiner is requested to review the specimens

`again to confirm this point.

`the Examiner has requested that Applicant

`amend the description of services to read "Issuance of

`travelers checks" and to delete "travelers cheque services".

`By way of response, Applicant should explain that it does

`not directly issue travelers checks.

`Issuance is specifically

`done by member banks. Applicant in fact processes the checks,

`services lost check claims, processes check cashing, etc.

`In general, Applicant administers the travelers check program.
