Part of a Department of Commerceinitiative, this website includes self-help "toolkits" giving innovators guidance on how to protectintellectual property in specific countries such as China, Korea and Mexico.
The dashboard includes a heart score that can be calculated in response to data from the user such as their ECG andotherpersonal information such as age, gender, height, weight, body fat, disease risks, etc.
One or more of the local computing device or the remote server may comprise a machine learning algorithm which generates one or more ofthe cardiac health score or the one or more recommendationsor goals for the user.
[0036] Although the above steps show method 150 of managing cardiac disease and/or rhythm in accordance with many embodiments,a person ofordinary skill in the art will recognize many variations based on the teaching described herein.
14.|The system of claim 13, wherein one or more of the local computing deviceor the remote server comprises a machine learning algorithm generating one or more ofthe cardiac health score or the one or more recommendationsor goals for the user.

1018 Exhibit: Schäfer A, Vagedes J How accurate is pulse rate variability as an estimate of heart rate variability

Document IPR2021-00972, No. 1018 Exhibit - Schäfer A, Vagedes J How accurate is pulse rate variability as an estimate of heart rate variability (P.T.A.B. Jun. 9, 2021)
Results show a moderate agreement that might suffice for crude monitoring purposes (e.g. to determine the clinically impor- tant question of whether a child's heart rate drops below 100 bpm), but includes substantial outliers in some cases [39] and certainly is not suited for scientific investigations.
On the other hand, Olsson et al. [41] examined the PPG signal recorded at three locations (leg, back, buttock) only manually, excluding sequences containing ‘severe motional disturbances’, and determined heart rate visually by count- ing pulse and ECG cycles.
The effect of mental and physical tasks was found to impede accu- racy less severely by McKinsey et al. [46], who conducted secondary evaluations of data they gathered earlier from studies including a total of 234 healthy adults of various age groups.
Encouraged by the feasibility of contactless SpO2 monitoring and imaging techniques [63,64], Wong and colleagues investigated the reliability of a sensor built into a mattress operating in reflection mode at the patients' back or shoulders, compared to a finger photo- plethysmogram [65,66].
In spite of these spec- tral discrepancies, Srinivas et al. found the usefulness of frequency A. Schäfer, J. Vagedes / International Journal of Cardiology 166 (2013) 15–29 domain PRV variables to detect the differences in autonomic function of heart and diabetic patients and normal controls (without compar- ison to HRV), characterizing it as suitable at least for preliminary screening purposes [84].
