Civil case hearings, bench trials, and settlement conferences may be scheduled and conducted by the presiding judge by remote means.
Felony plea or sentencing hearings may be conducted by videoconferencing or teleconferencing subject to the assigned judge making the required findings under Section 15002(b)(2)(A).
Motions seeking modification of an imposed term of imprisonment (compassionate release or a First-Step-Act sentence reduction) under 18 U.S.C. § 3582(c)(1)(A) must be filed only on the docket of the criminal case.
Filings in the Western Division may be: (a) electronically filed via CM/ECF; (b) deposited in the drop box located on the 2nd floor of the Roszkowski United States Courthouse during business hours; (c) mailed to U.S. District Court Clerk’s Office, 327 South Church Street, Rockford, IL 61101; or (d) in person at the intake counter of the Clerk’s Office located on the 2nd floor of the Roszkowski Courthouse during business hours.
The Court suspends Local Rule 5.2(f), which requires in many instances that paper courtesy copies of filings be delivered to the judge, through September 14, 2020.

defendant herein, knowingly engaged in a monetary transaction affecting interstate commerce in criminally derived property of a value greater than $10,000, namely, the purchase of a 2003 Caterpillar Model 325CL Hydraulic Excavator, Serial Number BFE00619, for S31,000 by check from BEM Bank Account 1, which property was derived from specifi.ed unlawful activity, namely, wire fraud, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1343; In violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1957(a).
defendant herein, knowingly engaged in a monetary transaction affecting interstate commerce in criminally derived property of a value greater than $10,000, namely, the purchase of a CAT 936 Wheel Loader, Serial Number 33207264 for $16,000 by wire transfer from BEM Bank Account 2, which property was derived foom specifi.ed unlawful activity, namely, wire fraud, in violation of Tit1e 18, United States Code, Section 7343; In violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section L957(a).
