`an interchangeable posterior module adapted to fit against a contour of the
`
`wearer’s face, the posterior module being selectively interchangeable with the anterior
`
`module to modify at least one physical characteristic of the goggle; and
`
`a pair of outriggers, each outrigger comprising a pair of fastening portions
`
`configured to interconnect
`
`the anterior module with the posterior module,
`
`the
`
`fastening portions being attachable to the anterior and posterior modules at coupling
`
`regions thereof, wherein the anterior and posterior modules of the goggle are coupled
`
`together by the outriggers to form a wearer-actuatable fastening mechanism.
`
`2.
`
`The goggle of Claim 1, wherein the outriggers each further comprise a pin
`
`memberextending from a bodythereof.
`
`3.
`
`The goggle of Claim 2, wherein the anterior module comprises a pair of
`
`apertures,
`
`the apertures being configured to receive the pin members of the respective
`
`outriggers when the outriggers are coupled to the anterior and posterior modules, wherein the
`
`combined interconnections of the pin members and the fastening portions of the outriggers
`
`providesa fixed rotational position of each outrigger relative to the anterior module.
`
`4,
`
`The goggle of Claim 3, wherein the posterior module comprises apertures
`
`configured to receive the pin member when the outriggers are coupled to the anterior and
`
`posterior modules.
`
`5.
`
`The goggle of Claim 2, wherein the coupling regions of the anterior module
`
`comprise a recess,
`
`the recess being configured to receive the fastening portions of the
`
`outriggers.
`
`6.
`
`The goggle of Claim 1, wherein at least one connector is interchangeable with
`
`the anterior module andthe posterior module.
`
`7.
`
`The goggle of Claim 1, further comprising a latch member coupled to the
`
`anterior module, the latch member being rotatable between an open position in which a lens
`
`-65-
`
`
`
`can be inserted or removed from the anterior module and a closed position in which the lens
`
`is secured to the anterior module.
`
`8.
`
`The goggle of Claim 7, further comprising a biasing member coupled to the
`
`latch member,
`
`the biasing member providing a biasing force tending to urge the latch
`
`membertoward the closed position.
`
`9.
`
`The goggle of Claim 8, wherein the biasing memberis rotatably coupled to the
`
`latch member and to the anterior module, wherein an outrigger comprises a pin member
`
`extending through corresponding apertures in the biasing member andthe latch member, the
`
`pin memberproviding an axis of rotation for the biasing member and the latch member.
`
`10.
`
`A goggle comprising:
`
`a lens support adapted to support at least one lens in a wearer’s field of view,
`
`the lens support defining a central portion and side portions;
`
`a latch member coupled to the lens support, the latch member being movable
`
`between an open position in which a lens can be inserted or removed from the lens
`
`support and a closed position in which the lens is secured to the lens support; and
`
`a biasing membercoupled to the latch member, the biasing member providing
`
`a biasing force tending to urge the latch member toward the closed position.
`
`11.
`
`The goggle of Claim 10, wherein the latch memberis rotatably coupled to the
`
`lens support.
`
`12.
`
`The goggle of Claim 11, wherein the biasing memberis rotatably coupled to
`
`the latch member.
`
`13.
`
`The goggle of Claim 12, wherein the biasing memberis rotatably coupled to
`
`the lens support.
`
`14.
`
`The goggle of Claim 13, further comprising an outrigger comprising a pin
`
`member extending through corresponding apertures in the biasing member and the latch
`
`member, the pin member providing an axis of rotation for the biasing memberand the latch
`
`member.
`
`15.
`
`The goggle of Claim 14, wherein the outrigger comprises a pair of fastening
`
`portions configured to be coupled with the lens support.
`
`-66-
`
`
`
`16.
`
`The goggle of Claim 15, wherein the lens support comprises an anterior
`
`module and a posterior module, the fastening portions of the outrigger being attachable to the
`
`anterior and posterior modules at coupling regions thereof to interconnect the anterior and
`
`posterior modules together.
`
`17.
`
`A goggle comprising:
`
`a lens support adapted to support at least one lens in a wearer’s field of view,
`
`the lens support defining a periphery, a central portion and side portions;
`
`at least one port disposed along the periphery of the lens support, the port
`
`providing an airflow passage for introducing air over an interconnecting portion of the
`
`goggle for improving ventilation and reducing fogging of the goggle.
