`The subject design application wasoriginally filed with 1 claim and 30 figures.
`
`Presently, Figs. 1-30 are subject to restriction and/or election.
`
`Summary of Restriction Requirement
`
`In the Restriction Requirement dated August 31, 2023, the Examiner indicated
`
`that the subject application discloses the following embodiments:
`
`Embodiment 1 - Figs. 1-9: Drawnto a Tire
`
`Embodiment 2 - Figs. 10-18: Drawn to Tire with much less scope than
`
`Embodiment 1
`
`Embodiment 3 - Figs. 19-23: Drawn to a Tire w/ pebble ejectors in the center
`
`sipes
`
`Embodiment4 - Figs. 24-18: Drawnto Tire w/ pebble ejectors in the center sipes
`
`and with much less scope than Embodiment 3
`
`The Examiner also indicated that the embodiments divide into the following
`
`patentably distinct groups of designs:
`
`Group I: Embodiment 1+3
`
`Group II: Embodiment 2+4
`
`Election
`
`Applicant respectfully disagrees with the figures that correspond with each
`
`embodiment. Embodiment 1 corresponds with Figs. 1-8 of the originally filed drawings.
`

`Embodiment 2 corresponds with Figs. 9-15 of the originally filed drawings. Embodiment
`
`3 corresponds with Figs. 16-23 of the originally filed drawings. Embodiment 4
`
`corresponds with Figs. 24-30 of the originally filed drawings.

`In response to the
`
`Restriction Requirement, Applicant hereby elects the figures associated with Group I:
`
`Embodiment 1+3 (Figs. 1-8 and Figs. 16-23) for prosecution. In accordance with the
`
`Examiner's request, Applicant directs cancellation of Figures 9-15 and Figures 24-30 of
`
`the originally filed drawings and submits the above Amendmentsto the Specification to
`
`remove the description of Figures 9-15 and Figures 24-30, which are directed to the
`
`non-elected group. No new matter has been added to the Specification. Applicant
`
`makes this election without traverse. Applicant is also submitting replacement drawings
`
`with originally filed Figures 16-23 re-labeled as Figures 9-15.

`CONCLUSION
`
`With the aboveelection, the Application is now in condition for examination and
`
`allowance on the merits. While no additional fees are believed necessary, the
`
`Commissioner is authorized to charge any neededfees or credit any overpayments to
`
`Deposit Account No. 06-0925 referencing attorney docket number P22033US1A.
