`This paper is submitted in responseto the Office action mailed on April 3, 2023. This

`paper withdrawsclaims 12-20. The instant election is made solely for the purpose of advancing
`
`prosecution, and does notindicate acquiescenceto the restrictions, alleged inventions,
`
`groupings of claims or figures, or to any other characterizations of the instant claims,
`
`application, or any cited references. Moreover, all anendments and remarks herein are made
`
`without prejudice to, disclaimer of, or dedication of any subject matter, and a right is specifically
`
`reservedto file continuation and/or divisional applications claiming any subject matter disclosed
`
`in the application.
`
`After entry of this Amendment and Response, claims 1-20 will be pending, with claims
`
`12-20 listed as withdrawn.
`
`In the Restriction Requirement, the Examiner alleges three distinct inventions:
`
`|. Claims 1-11, drawn to camerasof a portable electronic device e.g. camera housing,
`
`classified in CPC H04M 1/0264;
`
`Il. Claims 12-14, drawn to surfaces of a mobile phone e.g. exterior window surface,
`
`classified in HO4N 23/51; and
`
`Ill. Claims 15-20, drawn to sensor array of a portable electronic device e.g. flange/wall
`
`portions of sensor array, classified in GO6F2200/1637.
`
`The Examiner requires restriction to one of the aforementioned inventions under 35
`
`U.S.C. § 1.21.
`
`In responseto the Restriction Requirement, Assignee elects Group |, claims 1-
`
`11 without traverse. Accordingly, claims 12-20 are hereby withdrawn.
`
`The Assignee believes no fees or petitions are due with this filing. However, should any
`
`such fees or petitions be required, please considerthis a request therefor and authorization to
