`A rear door of bodies (7) of heavy goods vehicles or heavy goods vehicle trailers,

`having at least one door leaf (4) which is articulated on the body (7) so as to be
`
`pivotable about at least one vertical door axle (3) provided in the corner region of

`the body (7), characterized in that, preferably in the region of the main closing edge
`
`of the door leaf (4), a supporting frame (1) is articulated so as to be pivotable about
`
`a vertical frame axle (5), which supporting frame extends in a horizontal direction
`
`substantially as far as the lateral outer wall (10), and in that, in said lateral region,
`
`over at least a part of its height, there is formed a projection (9) which in the closed,
`
`ready-for-driving state of the rear door, engages into a groove-like depression (19),
`
`congruent therewith, on the body (7) or on a component connected to the latter.

`The rear door as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the supporting frame (1)
`
`is equipped or formed, in the region of the projection (9), with a vertically running
`
`guide vane (8) and/or with a tensioning frame for a tarpaulin (16) and/or with
`
`supporting devices for accessories.

`The rear door as claimed in either of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the guide
`
`vane (8) is mounted so as to be pivotable relative to the supporting frame (1) about
`
`a vertical vane axle (l 1).

`The rear door as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the guide vane (8) is, by

`means of a gas pressure spring (13), held selectively in one of its two end positions
`
`of rotation about its vane axle (l l).

`The rear door as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the guide vane (8) is

`adjustable about the vane axle (11) by means of an actuating drive, preferably a
`
`hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder-piston unit.

`The rear door as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the accessory is selected
`
`from the group comprising information panels, warning notices, working lights,
`
`ladders, lamps, underride guard devices, information items of any type, warning
`
`notices, illumination devices, reversing lights, dirt collectors, proximity sensors,
`
`reversing cameras and warning lamps.

`The rear door as claimed in any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the
`
`cross section of the projection (9) is hook-shaped and the cross section of the groove
`
`(19) is V-shaped.
