`In the species election requirement mailed October 17, 2017, the Examiner indicated that
`
`Applicant was required to elect species as follows:
`
`1) a single non-gelatin polymeric film-forming material; and
`
`2) any additional components (e.g., NONE, a pH modifier, a flavoring agent, etc.).
`
`In response, Applicant elects carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) as the “at least one non-gelatin
`
`film-forming material,” citric acid as the “pH modifier,” and disodiumhydrogen phosphate as an
`
`additional agent recited in claim 11. Claims reading on the elected species include claims 1-14.
`
`These elections are made without traverse.
`
`Conclusion
`
`The pending application is believed to be in condition for allowance. Prompt and favorable
`
`consideration is respectfully requested. If the Office believes, for any reason, that personal
`
