`EXAMINER INTERVIEW SUMMARY
`
`Commissioner for Patents
`
`PO. Box 1450
`
`Alexandria, VA 22313-1450
`
`Dear Commissioner:
`
`An Examiner
`
`interview was conducted by telephone on September 21, 2017 by
`
`Applicant’s request, with Examiner Christine Hopkins Matthews and the undersigned
`
`attorney. The claims and arguments in the paper provided to the Examiner by email on
`
`September 20, 2017 were discussed relative to Sokowloski and Marchitto as applied in
`
`the Office Action.
`
`Relative to proposed claims 80 and 84 and their related arguments,
`
`the Examiner
`
`stated she would conduct further examination.
`
`Claim 47 would be rejected over 0041 of Marchitto US 2008/0249350.
`
`Claim 55 would be rejected over Sokolowski and a new prior reference disclosing a
`
`computer controller, which could automate the treatment so that it would be performed
`
`without need of surveillance.
`
`

`

`Application SN: 15/473,390
`
`Attorney Dkt. No. 066964-8046.USOO
`
`The Examiner commented that Claim 70 avoids lack of novelty over Marchitto but would
`
`be rejected over a combination of Sokolowski and Marchitto, and that Claims 80, 84, 89
`
`and 96 may be allowable depending on further search and examination.
`
`The other claims would likely be rejected over Sokolowski or Marchitto in combination
`
`with new prior art disclosing the additional limitations claimed.
`
`In connection with the proposed claims to a coil including an insulated wire,
`
`it was noted
`
`that Sokowloski discloses ceramic wire retaining elements [0057] and that lshikawa US
`
`Patent No.
`
`6,527,694 teaches insulated wire. Goetz US2015/0367141 and Mo US
`
`2006/018607 were also mentioned relative to this limitation
`
`Relative to the proposed claims to litz wire, Goetz US2015/0367141 was mentioned
`
`along with 0014 of Sokolowski which discloses high frequency wires to avoid skin
`
`effects.
`
`Prior mentioned relative to claims to a wire diameter less than 3mm included Moses US
`
`2012/0053449.
`
`No agreement was reached.
`
`Dated: September 25, 2017
`
`Respectfully submitted,
