`
`59. (New)
`
`A device for generating a plurality of time-varying magnetic fields
`
`for treatment of a patient including at least one energy source, a plurality of energy
`
`storage devices, a plurality of switching devices, a plurality of magnetic field generating
`
`devices and a plurality of applicators wherein each applicator includes a casing;
`
`wherein the plurality of the storage devices is configured to be charged by the
`
`energy source;
`
`wherein the plurality of switching devices is configured to be switched in order to
`
`enable discharging the energy storage devices to the plurality of magnetic field
`
`generating devices in order to generate the time-varying magnetic fields with a magnetic
`
`flux density in a range of 0.4 to 7 T, an impulse duration in a range of 10 to 900 us and
`
`with a repetition rate up to 700 Hz; and
`
`with one of the magnetic field generating devices inside each casing; and
`
`each applicator is removably attached to a mechanical fixtures enabling mutual
`
`positioning of the applicators;
`
`wherein the magnetic field generating devices generate the time-varying
`
`magnetic fields independently of each other; and
`
`wherein the casing of each applicator includes at least one outlet on an upper
`
`side of the casing to allow cooling media to flow out of the casing; and
`
`wherein the outlet faces away from a lower side of the casing.
`
`60. (New)
`
`The device of claim 59 wherein the magnetic field generating
`
`devices include litz-wires.
`
`61. (New)
`
`The device of claim 60 wherein the magnetic field generating
`
`devices include conductors of diameters less than 3 mm.
`
`62. (New)
`
`The device of claim 61 wherein the device further includes at least
`
`one blower configured to direct a cooling media in order to cool the magnetic field
`
`generating devices.
