`Upon entry ofthe foregoing amendment, claims 1-4, 6, 8, 11-13, 18-20, 28, 30-33, 35, 58-

`71, and 78 are pending in the application, with claim 1 being the independent claim. Claims 1, 2, 4,
`
`6, 8, 13, 18, and 62-69 are sought to be amended. Claims 7, 9, 10, 21, and 22 are sought to be
`
`canceled without prejudice to or disclaimer of the subject matter therein. Claims 36, 40, 49, and 72-
`
`77 are withdrawn as being drawn to a nonelected invention. Claims 5, 14-17, 23-27, 29, 34, 37-39,
`
`41-48, and 50-57 were previously canceled. New claim 78 is sought to be added. Support for the
`
`claim amendments and the new claim can be found throughout the specification. These changes are
`
`believed to introduce no new matter, and their entry is respectfully requested.

`Based on the above amendment and the following remarks, Applicant respectfully requests
`
`that the Examiner reconsider all outstanding objections and rejections and that they be withdrawn.

`The Office alleges that claims 19-22 do not benefit from the earliest priority date. (Office

`Action, page 3.) Applicant respectfully traverses the Office's characterization of the effective filing
`
`date of these claims. Applicant reserves the right to prove that the claims should be afforded the
`
`earlier priority dates of the foreign priority documents at a later date, should the need arise.
