`APPLE INC.’S MOTION TO USE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
`AT THE HEARING ON MOTION FOR JUDGMENT ON THE PLEADINGS
`
`PURSUANT TO the Court’s PERSONAL ELECTRONIC DEVICE POLICY, defendant, Apple
`
`Inc. (“Apple”), moves this Court for leave (i) to bring two laptop computers into the Courthouse
`
`and (ii) to use the Electronic Evidence Presentation System on August 11, 2023, and in support
`
`thereof states as follows:
`

`
`This is an action for patent infringement filed by plaintiff, Geoscope Technologies
`
`Pte. Ltd. (“Geoscope”), against Apple.
`
`2.
`
`Apple has filed a motion for judgment on the pleadings on the basis that the patent
`
`claims asserted by Geoscope are not patent-eligible under 35 U.S.C. § 101 (see Dkt. No. 82). On
`
`Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., the parties will present oral argument regarding Apple’s
`
`motion for judgment on the pleadings (Dkt. No. 84).
`

`Apple proposes to make a PowerPoint presentation in support of its arguments,
`
`which Apple submits will aid the Court’s understanding of its contentions.
`
`4.
`
`In support of this motion, Apple submits the required electronic device forms.
`
`WHEREFORE, Apple requests that this Court enter the attached electronic device order
`
`granting Apple leave to bring laptop computers into the Courthouse and to use the electronic
`
`evidence presentation system. Apple waives a hearing on this procedural motion.
