`MOTION TO USE ELECTRONIC DEVICES AT CLAIM CONSTRUCTION HEARING

`Plaintiff Geoscope Technologies Pte. Ltd. (“Geoscope”), pursuant to the Court’s Personal
`
`Electronic Device Policy, respectfully moves the Court for leave to (i) bring laptop computers into
`
`the Courthouse and (ii) use the Court’s Electronic Evidence Presentation System during the July
`
`6, 2023 Claim Construction Hearing. In support of this Motion Geoscope states as follows:

`
`In this patent infringement action that plaintiff Geoscope filed against both Google
`
`LLC (“Google”) and Apple Inc. (“Apple”), the Court has scheduled a claim construction hearing
`
`for Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM. (ECF No. 81 at 2.)
`

`
`Geoscope proposes to aid its argument and presentation with the use of PowerPoint
`
`slides that will aid the Court’s understanding of its position.
`

`
`To do so, under this Court’s Personal Electronic Device Policy, counsel requires
`
`the Court’s authorization to bring the necessary laptops and associated charging cords and cables
`
`into the courthouse.
`
`4.
`
`To ensure reliability, counsel requests authorization to bring two (2) laptops into
`
`the courthouse, one primary laptop and one as a backup in case of technical issues.
`

`In support of this motion, Geoscope submits the required electronic device form as
`
`a Proposed Order submitted herewith.
`
`WHEREFORE, Geoscope respectfully moves the Court to enter the attached electronic
`
`device authorization as an order of the Court granting Geoscope permission to bring laptop
`
`computers and associated cords and cables into the courthouse and to use the Court’s Electronic
`
`Evidence Presentation System. Geoscope waives a hearing on this procedural motion.
