`Defendant TikTok, Inc. (TikTok) files this Unopposed Motion for an Extension of Time to
`
`Move, Answer or Otherwise Respond to Plaintiff Triller, Inc.’s Complaint. In support of their
`
`Motion, TikTok states as follows:
`

`
`On July 29, 2020, Plaintiff filed its complaint alleging patent infringement against
`
`ByteDance Ltd. and TikTok Inc.
`
`2.
`
`On August 3, 2020, Defendant TikTok, Inc. was served with Plaintiff’s Complaint.
`
`ByteDance Ltd., a foreign entity, has not yet been served.
`
`3.
`
`On August 18, 2020, counsel for ByteDance Ltd. and counsel for Triller, Inc.
`
`executed a Waiver of the Service of Foreign Summons for 90 days. The current deadline for
`
`ByteDance Ltd. to answer or otherwise respond to complaint is November 16, 2020.
`
`Defendant TikTok seeks an extension up to and through November 16, 2020, to align their
`
`answer deadline with ByteDance Ltd.’s deadline. Counsel for TikTok has conferred with counsel
`
`for Plaintiff, and counsel for Plaintiff has indicated it is unopposed to this motion.
`
