`investigation into Apple’s infringement is ongoing, and Maxell believes that the infringement theories provided here apply with equal
`effect to other Apple products running materially similar software to iOS 13. Although this chart contains user guide descriptions and
`screen shots from infringing products operating using iOS 13 as partial evidence of the Accused Apple ’848 Products’ infringement,
`these products nevertheless infringe the ’848 Patent’s claims under other versions of iOS as well, such as iOS 11 and 12, which
`operate in substantially the same way for purposes of infringement of the ’848 Patent. Thus, the Accused Apple ’848 Products infringe
`regardless of which version of iOS they have installed.

`This limitation is also met under the doctrine of equivalents because the identified
`structure matches the function, way, and result of the claimed element and, to the extent
`there is a difference, the difference is insubstantial. For example, if Apple argues that the
`Accused Apple ’848 Products do not have a memory coupled to the process, each of
`these products include software, hardware, or a combination of the two that perform the
`equivalent function of a memory coupled to the processor and storing instructions that,
`when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform further steps. Using this
`software, hardware, or combination of the two, these products perform substantially the
`same in substantially the same way as claimed. The performance of this function
`achieves substantially the same result.
