`ON-SITE CALIBRATION
`
`On-Site Flow Calibration Service
`
`Emerson’s Certifi ed Flow Field Service technician will assess the
`calibration requirements to determine whether the fl owmeters
`can be successfully calibrated on-site while operating within safe
`parameters. The following information is needed to assess the
`calibration job:
`
`• What is the uncertainty required?
`• What is the meter type, size & manufacturer?
`• What traceability is required?
`• Will the meter be calibrated in-situ or pulled from the process?
`• What fl ow rates are required for calibration?
`• What is the process fl uid? Do you have a MSDS?
`• Meter location? Is it in a safe area? Is a hot permit required?
`• Are the meters readily accessible?
`• Are there access taps for plumbing a reference meter into the line?
`• What fi ttings / hoses are required to plumb into the process?
`•
`Is there any special training required to work on-site?
`
`
`Based upon the results of this assessment, the Flow Field Service technician can provide a quote for
`our calibration services.
