`Job Description
`
`PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
`
`Working in a team environment. provide technical flow expertise and consulting to existing I potential Flow Solution Group customers and the regional sales force
`within the Americas.
`
`MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONS|BlLl11ES :
`
`- Site audits of measurement points
`
`- Supervision or support for upgrades of existing measurement points
`- Resolution of site issues affecting customer standards and practices
`
`- Guiding or advising flow technology trials
`
`- lntemallextemal flow training
`
`- Advisor on flow technology to project pursuit group
`
`- Alignment and participation in Emerson SGO initiatives to drive opportunities
`- Technil consultant to sales force and customers
`
`- Assess potential to address gaps in oil and gas applications with existing Emerson offering
`
`- Assist in development of sales and technology selection tools
`
`~ Represent flow group in technical seminars and conferences as appropriate
`
`- Mediate crivisional competing flow technologies in project pursuit as needed
`PRIMARY OBJEC11VES :
`
`- Insure the flow group as seen by customers to bee seamless entity with all flow divisions fairly represented
`- Insure technical impartiality in recommendations and offerings to customers
`!
`- Insure the flow group is perceived as a partner, not a vendor, in customer relations
`
`- Provide internal and external flow training encompassing customer and industry general practices that impact performance andlor acceptance of Flow Group
`products
`
`- Conduct or assist with flow related surveys or audits
`
`Job Requirements
`
`: Broad .knowledge and experience in principles of flow measurement, meter technology, installation effects and process parameters affecting measurement
`installations in production, allocation, blending, leak detection and custody transfer appll
`Ions.
`
`- Above average skills in team building, personnel development and dispute resolution
`
`- Excellent understanding of technology offered by the Emerson Flow Group members and above average understanding of competing vendors offerings
`
`- Excellent understanding of customer norms, local metrology requirements and internatio at standard pertaining to flow measurement, including implementation of
`the standards
`
`- Excellent understanding of plant safety and requirements
`
`- Sound project management and communication skills
`EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
`
`- BS in Engineering or 15 Years Related Experience
`
`~ 10 Years Flow Measurement Experience
`
`- Affiliation with Metrology Organizations Preferred
`
