`Recognized nationwide in the area of intellectual property law, Pete Peterson has served federal district courts from Georgia,
`Texas and New York to the state of Washington as a court-appointed special master and technical adviser in more than 50
`diverse cases involving today’s leading technology companies, covering a wide range of cutting-edge technologies from atomic
`force microscopes to semiconductors to telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. Pete has served as a mediator or arbitrator in
`more than 25 cases and as an expert witness in some 30 cases for many of the nation’s prominent companies. Emerging growth
`to well-established companies frequently turn to Pete for litigation and transactional representation in intellectual property,
`information technology, e-commerce and related unfair competition law.
`
`Pete, having served as an examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and as technical adviser to the late Chief Judge
`Howard Markey (of what is now the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit), has been an invited speaker at more than 170
`seminars and institutes, chairs the Advanced Federal Circuit Patent Law course for Patent Resources Group, and regularly
`provides comprehensive presentations on legal developments for the State Bar of Texas, Oklahoma State Bar Association,
`Houston Intellectual Property Law Association, Institute for Law and Technology of the Center for America and International Law,
`American Bar Association, Practicing Law Institute, Intellectual Property Owner’s Association, as well as for E.I. DuPont De
`Nemours Co.

`Among other honors, Pete has received the Chair’s Award of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and
`has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® annually since 1991, as a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Law and
`Politics Magazine, in Who’s Who Legal: Texas (patents and trademarks) and in Scene in SA, “San Antonio’s Best Lawyers.”
