`ORDER GRANTING SAMSUNG’S MOTION FOR LEAVE TO AMEND
`INVALIDITY CONTENTIONS UNDER P.R. 3-6(b)
`
`Before the Court is Defendants Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Samsung Electronics
`
`America, Inc.’s (collectively, “Samsung”) Motion for Leave to Amend Invalidity Contentions
`
`Under P.R. 3-6(b) (the “Motion”). In the Motion, Samsung requests leave to amend its invalidity
`
`contentions to assert three additional prior art references with respect to asserted U.S. Patent No.
`
`8,213,970 (the “’970 Patent”).
`
`Having considered the Motion, the Court finds that Samsung’s Motion should be and
`
`hereby is GRANTED. It is ORDERED that Samsung has leave to amend its invalidity
`
`contentions to assert the prior art references, U.S. Patent Publication No. 2006/0223518 (“Haney”),
`
`U.S. Patent Publication No. 2006/0199612 (“Beyer ’612”), and U.S. Patent No. 7,031,728 (“Beyer
`
`’728”), with respect to the asserted claims of the ’970 Patent.
