`In July 2015 we broke ground on the first phase of our data center in Fort Worth — one building
`and an admin space. Since then we've had an average of 950 workers on site every day, logging
`more than 1.7 million hours of work on the project. We're now starting to roll racks of servers into

`the first building, and we couldn't be more impressed with the fast pace of the teams working on

`We want to build on this strong momentum, and today we're thrilled to announce that we plan to
`expand our Fort Worth data center to five full buildings over the course of the next few years, and
`invest in the necessary supporting infrastructure. We've already started work on a second building,
`and we'll break ground on a third next year. We expect this expansion to keep our construction
`crews busy for years to come, and to add to the more than 120 full-time employees we already
`have on site.

`This expansion comes as more people around the world use Facebook apps and services every
`day, and as video becomes even more central to the way people connect and share with each
`other. With this expansion, our Fort Worth data center will play an even more important role in
`making that possible.
`

`
`And, of course, the facility will be powered by 100% renewable energy, thanks to the more than
`200 MW of new wind power that we worked with Citigroup Energy, Alterra Power Corporation, and
`Starwood Energy Group to bring to the Texas grid.
