`Petitioner, Flugum Law LLC (“Petitioner”), a limited liability company organized and
`
`existing under the laws of the United States, having an address at 540 Powder Springs Street, Suite
`
`C-13, Marietta, Georgia 30064 United States, believes that it will be damaged by the continued
`
`registration of the mark show in U.S. Trademark Reg. No. 3,186,835 (the “Registration”) for the
`
`mark FREEDOM LEGAL, registered on December 19, 2006, covering “Legal services” in
`
`International Class 42, and hereby petitions to cancel the same.

`As grounds for its cancellation, Petitioner, by its attorneys Grell & Watson LLC, alleges
`
`as follows:
`

`Petitioner filed an application on July 25, 2023 for the mark FREEDOM
`
`LAWYERS covering services in International Class 45 and assigned U.S. App. Ser. No.
`
`98/100,333 (the “Application”).
`

`
`Since at least February 2018, Petitioner has offered to its domestic, foreign,
`
`and international clients “Attorney services, namely, representation of clients in criminal defense,
`
`domestic violence, motor vehicle violation, and personal injury matters; Legal services; Legal
`
`services provided in relation to lawsuits; Legal consultancy services; Legal consultation services;
`
`Legal information services; Legal investigation services; Legal research services; On-site legal
`
`services; Pro bono legal services” continuously in commerce, and made extensive sales under the
`
`FREEDOM LAWYERS mark, primarily via the internet on the website located at
`
`www.freedomlawyers.com, via its attorneys, and in its offices throughout the Greater Atlanta
`
`Metropolitan Area.

`Petitioner will be damaged by the continued registration of the mark
`
`FREEDOM LEGAL in Class 42 because the Registration has been cited against the Application
`
`of Petitioner and may prevent Petitioner from securing registration of the mark FREEDOM
`
`LAWYERS.
`

`According to the records of the United States Patent and Trademark Office
`
`(the “USPTO”), UTAH LAND AND LAW, L.L.C. is the Registrant and is further a Utah Limited
`
`Liability Company with an address of PO Box 460, Payson, UT 84651 (the “Respondent” and the
`
`“Registrant”).
`

`Upon information and belief, use of the mark FREEDOM LEGAL has been
`
`discontinued with intent not to resume. Thus, Registrant has abandoned its mark.
`
`WHEREFORE, Flugum Law LLC respectfully requests this cancellation be sustained
`
`and that Registration No. 3,186,835 be cancelled.
