`Yankees RP Aaron Judge has signed a multiyear deal to be a "national
`
`spokesperson for Pepsi," according to Darren Rovell of ESPN.com.
`
`Terms of the deal "were not disclosed." Pepsi Sports Marketing Dir
`
`Justin Taman said of Judge, "Whether you area Yankee fan or not, you
`
`have to watch him. How he handles himself makes him a great
`
`ambassador for our brand and company on and off the field." Taman
`
`said that their relationship with Judge will "manifest itsetf in alt forms of
`
`media with the focus being on Opening Day next year" During the year,
`
`Judge specifically told his agent Page Odle to "collect all the
`
`endorsement possibilities for season's end." He previously had deals
`
`with Under Armour and Rawlings, and the "only in-season cleat he did
`
`was after the All-Star break when he signed an exclusive autograph

`Sony yesterday announced Yankees RF Aaron Judge will be the cover

`athlete for Sony's "MLB: The Show 18" after "teasing the announcement
`
`throughout the day," according to Chris Cwik of YAHOO SPORTS_ The
`
`news "shouldn't come as a major surprise." Sony's teaser "contained
`
`the phrase 'The Future is Coming.'" Judge is an "obvious choice as the
`
`cover athlete." He is "young, excellent and he plays for arguably the
`
`game's most popular team" It would, perhaps, be "more fitting" to have
`
`Astros 2B Jose Altuve or SS Carlos Correa on the cover, but "keep in

`mind these negotiations likely happen weeks before the news comes

`autograph deal with Fanatics.

`Since the Yankees returned from the All-Star break on July 14, Aaron Judge has seen his batting
`average drop 30 points to .289.
`
`Prior to Sunday night's backbreaking loss to the Red Sox, Judge was batting .161 with 43
`strikeouts in his last 27 contests. To make matters worse, 17 of those Ks have been of the caught
`looking variety.
`
`One night later against New York's team, the Mets (I'm kidding), Judge found the seats in the sixth
`inning of the Yanks' eventual 4-2 win. Of course, he did strike out two more times but why bother
`focusing on the negative.
`
`Even still, Judge's 36 dingers lead the entire American League, which is one reason as to why the
`baby-faced 25-year-old just inked a multi-year agreement with Fanatics Authentic
`(https:/www.foxbusiness.cornimarkets/2017/08/14/yankees-aaron-judge-inks-autograph-
`deal-with-fanatics.html) to become the sole distributor of all Aaron Judge signed memorabilia
`and collectibles.

`Though financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed, online sports retailer Fanatics joins Rawlings
`and Under Armor on Judge's growing list of endorsement deals.

`Per an agreement Steiner Sports has with the Yankees, Steiner can indeed place some of Judge's
`jerseys up for bid, though, Judge's hat, shoes and batting gloves are his own personal property.

`Aaron Judge has signed an exclusive autograph deal with Fanatics.

`Terms were not disclosed, but Judge's agent, David Matranga, said that it was a

`During the first week of July, one of Judge's signed rookie cards sold for
`
`$14,655 on eBay. Two weeks ago, the jersey that Judge wore for his MLB debut
`
`was sold by Steiner Sports for a sum of $160,644. Judge hit his first home run
`
`in his debut.
`
`On its website, Fanatics is selling 8-by-lo-inch photos with Judge's signature
`
`for $350. A signed Yankees hat is $400, a signed batting helmet is $500, a
`
`signed bat is $600 and a signed replica jersey is $650.
`
`"As a kid growing up in California, I collected autographs," Judge said at a
`
`Fanatics private signing on Sunday. "I got [Giants shortstop] Rich Aurilia and
`
`Barry Bonds and actually got Willie Mays a couple times."

`Judge, who won the All-Star Home Run Derby said that growing up, he used to

`perfect his signature in classroom notebooks while in school, dreaming of the

`While Judge hasn't said anything publicly, sources said he was not happy with
`
`the way his game-used jerseys were put up for bid without his having any
`
`knowledge of it. The jersey Judge wore on Mother's Day, which was also Derek
`
`Jeter's number retirement, is to be auctioned off next week by Heritage
`
`Auctions. Steiner has the right to get some of Judge's jerseys through its
`
`memorabilia deal with the Yankees.
`
`Judge's batting gloves, bats and shoes are his property, but his jerseys are
`
`property of the team. The deal with Fanatics doesn't include rights to his game-
`
`used memorabilia.
`
`Since the All-Star break, Judge has hit .164 and struck in 3o consecutive games.
`
`He ranks second in Major League Baseball in home runs (35), seven behind the

`Miami Marlins' Giancarlo Stanton.
