`
`Dear Scott,
`
`Please Thank the TJ PA for their input and consideration of Safti First. The answers and discussion of their questions are

`7. Two Hour Approval
`
`There is no system approved today that has trusses penetrating it or has been tested in many of the configurations
`
`shown. We plan on testing the full-scale assembly at the same time we have the bomb-blast and water testing
`done.
`
`8. Questions put on our test assembly drawings
`
`These drawings in no way reflect the full or suggested design required for the Transbay Transit Center and were only
`
`prepared for our own use in the on-going two hour floor testing we are engaged in.
`
`
`
`In conclusion, it is our desire to provide a system that will surpass the system currently being considered. This will be a
`
`design build project and a system that can be installed from the top, can provide seismic movement with less obtrusive
`
`connections, has a bomb blast hold down solution, will be leak free, require minimal maintenance, be condensation
`
`free, provide additional light, by the use of wider spacing & fewer beams, these beams spaced at five-foot centers with
`
`stainless steel cladding to reflect the light, able to enclose the electrical and sprinkler systems, eliminate the bearing
`
`pads and truss system, or make the trusses only ornamental, truly meet the AHJ requirements, not require painting
`maintenance, not require disassembly of the fire-rated glazing system to work on the electrical or sprinkler system, not
`
`expose all the perimeter fire-rated glazing to edge damage in a seismic event, to be made in California, is nearer and
`
`therefore greener and will be easier to install are put forth in an effort to satisfy your desire to have a truly spectacular

`
`Thank you for your consideration.
`
`Yours very truly
