`
`Patent Owner's Preliminary Response in IPR2025-00003 is currently
`due tomorrow, Thursday January 9, 2025. Patent Owner's counsel, Mr. Noroozi, is responsible for
`drafting and finalizing Patent Owner's Response. However, Mr. Noroozi's ability to complete the
`briefing in accordance with the current deadline has been impacted by an active fire known as the
`Pacific Palisades fire. Mr. Noroozi's home is located on Bundy Drive between Dorothy Street and
`Darlington Avenue, less than a mile from the official evacuation

`appid=ba8cfed4b4a04d49b7489eb8300727a8. Yesterday evening, Mr. Noroozi's family received an
`alert from the Los Angeles Fire Department to evacuate. Mr. Noroozi and his family will
`relocate today and for the next several days, impeding his ability to meet the current deadline. In
`addition, Mr. Noroozi has been ill with a severe case of the flu since Friday, January 3, 2025, which
`has compounded the impact of the need to relocate his family with respect to tomorrow's deadline.

`Accordingly, Patent Owner respectfully requests a 7-day extension, moving the deadline for the
`Preliminary Response from January 9, 2025 to January 16, 2025. Petitioner does not oppose the
`request. To the extent the Board would like Patent Owner to file a motion to extend, Patent Owner
`respectfully requests authorization to do so.
