`Counsel:
`
`
`
`The Board would like to have a call with the parties in IPR2024-00317. Please respond via e-mail providing the availability of the parties for the
`call. Also, the Board would like to have a call with the parties regarding a possible Motion for Joinder in IPR2024-00315. If convenient for the
`parties, the Board is willing to address issues in both IPR2024-00315 and IPR2024-00317 during a single call. If the parties would like a single call
`for both proceedings, please also indicate that preference in the responsive e-mail.
`
`
`
`In case it is helpful, the Board would like to have the call in IPR2024-00317 to inquire as to whether Patent Owner plans to file an Opposition.

`
`Dear Honorable Board,
`
`
`

`
`

`

`I am lead counsel for Petitioners Samsung Electronics America, Inc., et al. (“Samsung”) in IPR2024-00317. I am writing to the Board pursuant to
`the Trial Practice Guide section on Motions for Joinder, which requires that “[a] party who files a motion for joinder should arrange a conference call
`with the panel, petitioner, and patent owner of the first proceeding within five business days of filing the motion.”
`
`
`
`Samsung’s Petition in IPR2024-000317 is substantively identical to the Petition filed in IPR2024-0135, which was instituted on April
`30. Saumsung filed today a motion to join the IPR2024-0135 proceeding. Pursuant to the TPG, we are writing to notify the Board of the joinder
`petition. I have copied both Petitioners’ and Patent Owner’s counsel from IPR2024-00135 on this email, as well as counsel of record in IPR2024-
`00317. To the extent the Board wishes to schedule a conference call, we will revert with availability.
`
`
`
`
`
`Respectfully,
`
`Jim Glass
