`Case IPR2023-01210
`Patent No. 8,400,358
`
`I, Travis Lee Richins, declare as follows:
`
`1.
`
`I obtained a B.A. from the University of Utah in 2002, and a J.D. from
`
`Southern Methodist University in 2008.
`
`2.
`
`I have practiced civil litigation, primarily in United States district
`
`courts, for fifteen years. For the past seven years, I have focused primarily on
`
`representing clients in patent litigation in United States district courts. Through this
`
`work, I have gained extensive experience as a litigation attorney, particularly in
`
`patent cases.
`
`3.
`
`I am a member in good standing of the Texas and Virginia state bars,
`
`and am admitted to practice before all United States District Courts in Texas and
`
`Virginia
`
`4.
`
`I was previously admitted pro hac vice before the Patent Trial and
`
`Appeals Board in IPR2018-00199, IPR2018-00282, and IPR2017-02148.
`
`5.
`
`I have substantial familiarity with the subject matter at issue in this
`
`proceeding. Patent Owner has asserted against Petitioner U.S. Patent No.
`
`11,168,484 (“the ’484 patent”), the patent at issue in this proceeding. In the course
`
`of those proceedings, I have developed a strong familiarity with the ’484 patent and
`
`the issues that may arise in this IPR.
`
`6.
`
`I have never been suspended or disbarred from practice before any court
`
`or administrative body.

`
`by any court or administrative body.
`

`
`I have read and will comply with the Office Patent Trial Practice Guide
`
`and the Board’s Rules of Practice for Trials set forth in part 42 of 37 C.F.R.
