`Naina Soni focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on patent litigation. She
`represents both established industry giants and disruptive startups covering a broad range of technologies,
`including pharmaceuticals, surgical sealants, biomedical devices, telecommunications software, social
`networking, and home security system software.
`
`Naina’s litigation experience extends to all aspects of patent litigation, including trial and pre-trial preparation,
`motions practice and oral argument, extensive legal research, fact and expert witness depositions, and
`discovery, as well as inter partes review proceedings. Naina also has substantive trial experience in Federal
`district court, including in the District of Delaware and the Eastern District of Texas and has taken the direct
`examination of witnesses at trial. Most recently, Naina served on trial teams in the District of Delaware that
`secured defense victories for her clients― jury verdicts of invalidity and non-infringement. Naina also
`maintains a pro bono practice, assisting clients on asylum and civil rights issues.
`
`While at Duke Law School, she served as lead articles/publications editor for Law and Contemporary
`Problems. She also worked with clients to prepare wills and powers of attorneys and represented clients in
`guardianship cases and Social Security disability cases as a part of the law school’s Health Justice Clinic.
