`
`Palm Held Orientation
`A digital Palmcorder® so compact, it fits securely and comfortably in the
`palm of your hand. However, it's not so much how small it is, rather it's
`how something so small can do so much. It uses the revolutionary Mini
`DV format, so it's capable of delivering over 380 lines of horizontal resolution. That's better than
`a live TV broadcast! It can also record CD-quality audio and make digital copies of your
`personal recordings without a loss in picture quality.
`
`Home Editing Possibilities
`Now you can edit your videos and pictures–just
`like the pros–for a wide variety of home, school
`and business applications. Using the industry
`standard IEEE 1394 interface, connect the PV-
`DV910 camcorder to another digital camera
`(cable optional) to create precise copies of a home video. Or, connect to a personal computer,*
`an edit control deck or other properly equipped video equipment (cable optional) for advanced
`editing and viewing purposes.
`
`Visit the Adaptec and Digital Origin web sites for information about IEEE 1394 solution
`packages that are compatible with the Panasonic PV-DV910 digital Palmcorder for video and
`photo editing.
`
`Zoom Capabilities
`The PV-DV910 digital camcorder is equipped with a lens capable of an extraordinary 18:1
`optical zoom. This acts like a telescope to produce close-ups with extreme clarity so you won't
`miss a single detail. The camcorder is also equipped with a 300x** digital zoom for an even
`closer shot.
`
`Audio Editing Capabilities
`Do audio dubbing, too. You'll be able to replace audio without affecting the existing video. PCM
`technology allows you to record audio with extreme fidelity for magnificently crisp audio.
`Choose between one set of 16-bit stereo for CD-quality audio, or 2 sets of 12-bit stereo which
`allows you to add new audio while maintaining existing audio–perfect for inserting background
`music or commentary to your videos.
`
`Download operating instructions for the PV-DV910. Adobe® Acrobat® Reader
`is necessary to view the PDF file.

`
`* IEEE 1394 host adapter card required for both Macintosh® OS and Windows®. Must have Macintosh OS (version 7.6.1 or
`later) or Windows '95, Windows '98 or Windows NT (4.0 or later) to use adapter card.
`**As digital magnification increases, resolution decreases.
