`

`Joint Request for Oral Argument
`
`IPR2022-01304
`
`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.70(a), Petitioner and Patent Owner respectfully
`
`jointly request oral argument to address the following issues:
`
`1.
`
`The patentability challenge to U.S. Patent No. 6,922,632 for the reasons
`
`addressed in the Petition and subsequent briefing;
`
`2.
`
`3.
`
`Petitioner’s and Patent Owner’s forthcoming motions to exclude; and
`
`Any additional issues on which the Board seeks information or clarification.
`
`The parties jointly request that oral argument be heard in person. Petitioner
`
`requests that oral argument take place at the USPTO’s Silicon Valley Regional
`
`Office in San Jose, CA, while Patent Owner requests that oral argument take place
`
`at the USPTO’s headquarters in Alexandria, VA.
`
`The parties jointly request that oral argument for this IPR2022-01304 be
`
`combined with oral argument for the two related proceedings of IPR2022-01305 and
`
`IPR2022-01308, and that each party be allowed a total of 90 minutes per side for
`
`the consolidated oral argument.
`
`The Board has scheduled oral argument for IPR2022-01304, IPR2022-01305,
`
`and IPR2022-01308 (the three of which address two patents related to each other)
`
`for the same day as IPR2022-01294, and all four of these IPRs involve the same
`
`parties. The parties have discussed and agree that, given the more limited time
`
`requested for IPR2022-01294 relative to IPR2022-01304/IPR2022-01305/IPR2022-
`
`1
`
`

`

`Joint Request for Oral Argument
`
`IPR2022-01304
`
`01308, it may be most efficient for the Board to hold oral argument on IPR2022-
`
`01294 before oral argument on IPR2022-01304/IPR2022-01305/IPR2022-01308.
`
`The parties each request the ability to use audio-visual equipment, including
`
`the use of a computer, projector, document camera, and screen.1 The parties further
`
`request that the attorneys at counsel’s table be allowed to use computers.
