`On March 8, 2022, Google LLC, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., and Samsung
`
`Electronics America, Inc. (“Petitioners”) filed a petition for inter partes review of
`
`U.S. Patent No. 7,852,537 with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. In accordance
`
`with the fee schedule specified in 37 C.F.R. § 42.15(a), Petitioners deposited an
`
`electronic payment at the time of filing of the petition, including $19,000 for fees
`
`associated with Petitioner’s request for review and a further $22,500 for post-
`
`institution fees. On August 30, 2022, the Board entered a Decision dismissing the
`
`proceeding due to settlement prior to institution of trial as to Samsung, and on
`
`September 26, 2022, the Board entered a Decision dismissing the proceeding due to
`
`settlement prior to institution of trial as to Google. Therefore, Petitioners request a
`
`refund in the amount of $22,500 to be paid to Deposit Account Number 50-2613 for
`
`the post-institution fees, which are no longer necessary.
