`
`Subconjunctival hemorrhage (SCH) is blood beneath the conjunctiva noted
`as bright red appearance on the conjunctiva highlighted prominently
`against the white sclera in all the four eyes seen here. Etiology may be
`trauma, coughing, sneezing, Valsalva maneuver, blood thinners, other
`medications that impede clotting, elevated blood pressure. If recurrent a
`systematic medical evaluation may be warranted. Typically, no therapy is
`required and self resolves in 1-2 weeks.
