`Petitioner Lenovo (United States) Inc. respectfully requests a refund of
`
`$23,250.00, the post-institution fees initially paid concurrently with the Petition for
`
`Inter Partes Review of U.S. Patent No. 8,624,844 (“the ’844 patent”), assigned
`
`Case Number IPR2021-00821.
`
`On May 4, 2021, Petitioner filed a Petition for Inter Partes Review of claims
`
`1-16 and 18-22 of the ’844 patent under 35 U.S.C. § 311 et seq. and 37 C.F.R.
`
`§ 42.100 et seq. On October 21, 2021, the Board denied institution of the Inter
`
`Partes Review.
`
`Because no trial has been instituted in this IPR, Petitioner hereby requests a
`
`refund of $23,250.00, the post-institution fees paid pursuant to 37 C.F.R.
`
`§ 42.15(a)(2). Payment of the post-institution fees was processed through PTAB
`
`E2E on May 4, 2021, and charged to the undersigned’s Deposit Account No.
`
`50-4561. Upon review and approval of this request, Petitioner respectfully
`
`requests that the Board credit $23,250.00 to Deposit Account No. 50-4561.
`
