`
`ORDER
`Granting MobileIron, Inc.’s Motions to Withdraw Counsel
`35 C.F.R. §§ 42.5, 42.10
`
`On January 5, 2021, with our authorization, MobileIron, Inc. (“MobileIron”)
`filed a motion in each of the above listed proceedings to (i) withdraw Sanjeet
`Dutta as its lead counsel,3 and (ii) substitute R. Parrish Freeman as its lead
`counsel. See Motion to Withdraw and Substitute Counsel (“Motion”).
`Paper 7, 1.4 MobileIron submits that Mr. Dutta’s
`withdrawal “will not have an adverse effect on [MobileIron] or otherwise
`delay the proceeding[s].” Id. MobileIron represents that Blackberry
`Limited does not oppose these motions. Id.
`
`Also, on January 5, 2021, MobileIron filed its Updated Mandatory
`Notices designating Mr. Freeman, a registered practitioner, as its lead
`
`
`2 This is not an Order from an expanded panel of the Board. Rather, we
`exercise our discretion to issue one Order for all of the above-listed
`proceedings.
`3 MobileIron notes that “I. Neel Chatterjee, Rachel Walsh, and Monte M.F.
`Cooper were also designated as backup counsel, but will no longer seek pro
`hac vice admission.” Paper 7, 1. Because they did not file motions for
`admission, they were not admitted as counsel of record in these proceedings.
`4 We cite to documents in IPR2020-01519. Substantially the same
`documents cited herein also were filed in the other listed proceedings.

`
`counsel. Paper 8, 2; see also Paper 9 (MobileIron’s updated Power of
`Attorney), 1 (appointing Mr. Freeman as lead counsel).
`
`In light of the above, the Motion as to Mr. Dutta’s withdrawal is
`granted.
`
`Next, MobileIron’s request that Mr. Freeman be substituted as lead
`counsel in each of these proceedings is moot. Mr. Freeman was made lead
`counsel for MobileIron by its January 5, 2021 filing of its Updated
`Mandatory Notices designating Mr. Freeman as such. Paper 8, 2; Paper 9, 1.
`Likewise, MobileIron’s request that Messrs. Eric L. Maschoff, John T.
`Gadd, and David T. Call (all of who are registered practitioners) be listed as
`backup counsel is moot. They were made back-up counsel by MobileIron’s
`filing of its Updated Mandatory Notices designating them as such. Paper 8,
`2; see also Paper 9, 1.
`
`Accordingly, it is
`
`ORDERED that Sanjeet Dutta is permitted to withdraw as counsel for
`MobileIron in the listed proceedings.
